Processing Digital Enablement Specialist
Position Overview:
As a Processing Digital Enablement Specialist, you will collaborate intensively within Product Supply Business Units and cross-functional partners to identify and implement digital capabilities that maximize value for our customers and stakeholders. You will analyze current business processes across global seed processing facilities to uncover digital opportunities and expose critical process gaps. Your role involves driving the requirements gathering process, translating high-level business needs into actionable specifications, and supporting the development of a comprehensive Digital Transformation Strategy and roadmaps for seed processing facilities and the VSPS organization. You will operationalize strategic initiatives through projects, translate business needs into system requirements, and prioritize project deliverables to support development efforts. You will enable the Digital Strategy Lead to build robust business cases, provide project management support, and ensure successful deployment of initiatives by assessing challenges and opportunities. As a champion and change agent, you will lead organizational changes required to create and sustain digital capabilities, represent Veg at global COEs, and evaluate enterprise and market tools to assess the right fit for required capabilities. You will foster a data/digital-driven culture to continually analyze ROI, create and track KPIs, and refine digital strategies to increase product supply efficiency and effectiveness.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Collaborate intensively within Product Supply Business Units and cross-functional partners (e.g., enterprise IT, Commercial) to identify and implement internal and external digital capabilities that maximize value for our customers and stakeholders.
+ Analyze current business processes across our global seed processing facilities to uncover digital opportunities and expose critical process gaps. Drive requirements gathering process, translating high-level business needs into actionable specifications.
+ Utilize these key insights to support the development of a comprehensive Digital Transformation Strategy and roadmaps for the seed processing facilities and VSPS organization.
+ Operationalize strategic initiatives through projects. Translate business needs into system requirements and prioritize project deliverables to support development efforts.
+ Enable the Digital Strategy Lead to build robust business cases that effectively secure necessary funding and gain leadership alignment for both new digital initiatives and enhancements to existing platforms
+ Provide project management support, secure appropriate training and change management needs required for successful adoption and usage of deployed solutions.
+ Ensure successful deployment of initiatives by assessing challenges and opportunities and/or organizational dynamics and proactively take appropriate actions to resolve problems and ensure objectives are achieved;
+ Acts as a champion and change agent in leading the organizational changes required to create and sustain digital capabilities;
+ Represent Veg at the global COEs and ensure veg business needs are reflected in the global solutions and roadmaps.
+ Evaluate enterprise and market tools to assess the right fit to enable veg required capabilities.
+ Support ongoing enhancement efforts required to build up key functional capabilities.
+ Foster a data/digital-driven culture to continually analyze ROI, create and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for adoption rates and efficiency improvements, and refine digital strategies to increase product supply efficiency and effectiveness in serving customer needs.
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
+ BSc + 6 years relevant experience or 8+ years of relevant experience;
+ High-level working knowledge of product supply processes and supporting digital ecosystem;
+ Experience managing product supply initiatives involving ERP and CRM solutions;
+ Experience in building strong business cases, leadership communication, and ROI analysis;
+ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
+ Understanding of project management lifecycle and methodology;
+ Proactive mindset and ability to work independently;
+ Experience in developing and implementing system improvements.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $120,431.20 - $180,646.80Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
