A Typical Day
The Pricing Strategy Manager ’s responsibilities include developing and testing complex pricing strategies as well as performing complex analysis to create solutions for corporate strategic initiatives. As the Manager , you will interface with department leadership and occasionally with the executive management team to present analytics results.
The Pricing Strategy Manager will :
+ Develop and test complex pricing strategies as well as perform complex analysis to create solutions for corporate strategic initiatives
+ Design and develop demand elasticity analysis and profit/ROE optimization models that can be used to make real-time profit/ROE-maximizing margin decisions
+ Build and analyze mortgage pipeline fall-out curves and develop pricing strategies to account for differences to due borrower or business partner behaviors
+ Analyze pipeline behavior including extension/roll/relock activity, time to deliver, file delivery to purchase, and other operational cost metrics. Develop and design of pricing strategies that distinguish different behaviors
+ Help develop the Margin Management System (MMS), LendingSpace, and pricing distribution infrastructure including Rate Sheet distribution and third-party pricing vendors
+ Perform other related duties as required and assigned
+ Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
What You’ll Bring
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Math, Physics, Statistics, or Financial discipline
+ 4+ years of experience building financial models and applying advanced statistics techniques to problems in residential mortgage finance
+ Strong quantitative, problem solving, and statistics/financial engineering skills
+ Extensive experience with SQL coding and Excel automation
+ Knowledge of a statistical package like SAS, R, or similar is desirable

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
+ Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
+ Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
+ Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
Salary
$75,000 - $130,000
