Job Summary:

Operate CNC Lathe Machines to fabricate production parts.

Reporting To:

Shift Supervisor and/or Director of Operations

Essential Job Functions

+ Operates CNC lathe machines.

+ Make appropriate offsets and adjust tools.

+ Read and interpret blueprints as needed.

+ Properly use calipers, micrometers, and thread gauges.

+ Properly and safely load and unload machines.

+ Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machines.

+ Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.

+ Utilize and abide by all safety procedures.

+ Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

Skills and Abilities

+ Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbal and written

+ Problem-solving skills

+ Attention to detail with precision equipment and products

+ Ability to perform basic mathematical computations

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Education and Experience

+ High school diploma or GED required.

+ 3+ years' operating experience in CNC lathe machining.

+ Ability to hold tight tolerances.

Physical Requirements

+ Required to stand, walk, or bend for extended periods of time.
