    Summary

    Drive content vision by owning an audience-centric, results-driven strategy that powers brand growth and business outcomes. This hands-on leader crafts compelling stories, shapes thought leadership, and creates award-winning content across formats. The role balances direct content creation with leading and collaborating across PR, social, strategy, creative, and marketing teams to amplify impact and expand reach.

     

    This position will support our Marketing team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule generally requiring 2-3 days per week in-office or at show site, based out of any of the following locations:

     

    + Dallas, TX

    + Philadelphia, PA

    + Detroit, MI

    + Fort Wayne, IN

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Content Strategy & Ownership

    + Develop and lead an innovative content strategy aligned to business priorities, verticals, and audience needs.

    + Build and maintain a high-performing content calendar, overseeing ideation, writing, editing, and delivery across blog posts, executive bylines, social, research reports, web, video scripts, newsletters, and more.

    + Collaborate with executives, marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure every narrative and asset is tailored for target audiences and supports pipeline objectives.

    Case Studies & Awards Submissions

    + Research, develop, and write compelling case studies showcasing biggest wins, client impact, and expertise.

    + Own the creation, coordination, and submission of award entries, partnering cross-functionally to identify standout work and position as industry leaders.

    Innovative Storytelling & Channel Customization

    + Experiment with new formats, visual storytelling, and multi-channel content to reach and engage the right audience—from social-first ideas to interactive digital experiences.

    + Collaborate closely with strategy, social, event and creative teams to peel, adapt, and repurpose campaign content for various distribution channels.

    Leadership & Collaboration

    + Collaborate with a team of writers, strategists, content producers and creative partners—instilling a culture of creative excellence, audience advocacy, and continuous learning.

    + Oversee freelance projects, content reviews, and deadlines, ensuring quality, style, consistency, and brand voice in every asset.

    Measurement & Business Impact

    + Institute clear KPIs, reporting systems, and analytics; use insights to refine the content roadmap and optimize for traffic, engagement, and conversion.

    + Conduct regular audits and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

     

    Education & Experience

     

    + 15+ years leading content strategy, creation, and team management in dynamic B2B or agency environments.

    + Preferred background in journalism, public relations, or communications with the ability to capture the voice of a variety of executives.

    + Strong ability to translate products, services, customer insights, and trends into impactful and entertaining B2B marketing narratives.

    + Knowledge of the content marketing landscape and emerging trends.

    + Analytical skills and data-driven thinking.

    + Superior organizational and project management skills.

    + Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

    + Creative problem-solving mindset.

    + Strong work ethic paired with intellectual and creative curiosity, and a willingness to learn from others.

    + Self-motivated, open-minded, with a sense of humor.

    + Experience in SEO, Google Analytics, Marketo, WordPress, Canva, and other relevant content platforms.

    Travel Requirements

    Travel up to 25%
