A Day in the Life:

The Customer Data Specialist is responsible for supporting the Credit and Risk area by ensuring accurate setup and maintenance of customer accounts and profiles related to Hertz administered billing accounts. This role plays a vital role in monitoring departmental inboxes, handling incoming requests from various entities within Hertz, including internal sales teams, customer service teams, and the field. The Customer Master Data Specialist collaborates closely with multiple departments within Hertz to maintain precise customer billing information, gold profiles, and all other customer account details. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, possesses strong follow-up and communication skills, and can effectively prioritize work to meet departmental production requirements.

The starting hourly rate for this position is $16.35.

What You’ll Do:

Perform administrative tasks related to setting up various types of accounts for Hertz brands, including Hertz, Dollar, and Thrifty, across North America, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

+ Create various receivables accounts and CDPs for North America, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

+ Generate welcome emails for all types of accounts for customers, sales representatives, and receivables.

+ Replace applicant numbers for customers experiencing fraud, in collaboration with the fraud team.

+ Finalize all accounts to ensure they are ready for billing.

+ Perform account updates in different systems, including company addresses, names, contacts, emails, and others.

+ Send W9s to the accounting teams of newly created accounts.

+ Account maintenance such as closing inactive accounts and suspending.

+ Fulfil other duties as assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Very high attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and account setup processes.

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

+ Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various departments within Hertz.

+ Proficiency in relevant software and systems used for account setup and maintenance.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong problem-solving skills to address errors and issues promptly.

+ Knowledge of customer billing processes and understanding of credit and risk management is a plus.

+ Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
