    This is a great opportunity to join the LTAMDS (Lower Tier Area & Missile Defense System) LRIP (Low-Rate Initial Production) Program in the LADS (Land & Air Defense Systems) Sub-Business Unit as the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Lead (P3). In this role, you will gain end-to-end exposure to program execution and financial performance, developing the skills and insights needed to progress toward future leadership roles in Business Management.

     

    The ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong technical knowledge of finance and program control, strong problem-solving skills and have good communication skills. The candidate should be comfortable working independently and in a team environment and can multitask and work on several different program issues concurrently, in a fast-paced environment.

     

    _This role is being offered in an onsite capacity and is based on the needs of the business. Onsite work will be done in Andover, MA. Relocation assistance is not being provided._

    What You Will Do:

    + Financial Consolidation & Reporting – Lead the consolidation, reporting, and analysis of core financial metrics (Bookings, Sales, Profit, Cash) for LTAMDS LRIP

    + Planning Leadership – Establish and manage the schedule for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) to meet business deadlines

    + Manpower Forecasting – Support labor forecasting and analysis to enable efficient resource planning

    + Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with program leadership, finance, and operations to connect financial results to program performance

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    + Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field & 5 years of Finance related experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3 years' Finance related experience

    + Experience with SAP and/or a similar system

    + U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    + Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

    + Financial experience in the aerospace/defense industry

    + In depth understanding of color of money policy, accounting principles

    + Excellent written and verbal communication with good presentation skills

    + Proficient use of Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

    + Experience with PMX

    + Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork

    + Demonstrated ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinking

    + Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements in a fast-paced changing business environment

    + Sound analytical, problem identification, and problem-solving skills

    + Broad understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)

    **Onsite:** Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

    The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

     

    Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
