Claims Transactions Processor

Location - Helena, MT

Full-Time: Monday – Friday standard schedule 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

$18 per hour, which may be below your state's minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

+ Provides administrative/clerical support to business operations by performing processing tasks such as data entry.

+ Performs data entry of material from source documents to a computer database.

+ Transcribes routine pre-coded and identifiable alphanumeric data from source document into an automated system.

+ Ensures accuracy and completeness of data/assigned work.

+ Ability to compare lists of numbers and find mismatches/errors.

+ Handle multiple assignments.

+ Maintain a high level of confidentiality, informational accuracy and production.

+ Must be able to work under strict deadlines for assigned projects.

+ All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** **:

+ High School diploma or equivalent.

+ Ten Key experience.

_Preferred Qualifications and Success Factors:_

+ Medical claims and payment processing experience preferred

+ Accurate typing skills

+ Attention to detail/accurate typing skills

+ Data entry skills and 6000 ksph numeric

+ Manual dexterity

+ Ability to use PC, 10 key, calculator, and/or data entry program

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated hourly rate for this role is $18.00
