**Description:** 1\. Researching component termination styles, plastic encapsulation styles and component construction processes

2\. Generation of Vendor Identification Drawings, Source Control Drawings and Altered Item Drawings\.

3\. Process change notices/Change orders in PTC windchill for Part Bill of Materials & maintaining the engineering BOM in accordance with LM processes\.

4\. Maintain windchill parts library for tactical and test stand hardware\.

5\. Develop component qualification test plans and execute part qualifications with Test houses\.

6\. Develop component screenings for parts as directed by Parts Management Process plan\.

7\. Research and determine impact of PCN’s and obsolescence on the programs\.

8\. Review Parts in Siemens Expedition Library for approvals per PMP guidelines\.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or degree in Science Technology Engineering\.

• Good verbal and written communication skills\.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance\.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Parts Standardization application and technology insertion within the design process\.

• Function as an experienced component technologist, responsible for the life cycle of strategic electronic components\.

• Knowledge of component selection, screening, qualification, and derating for use in military, and aerospace flight applications\.

•

• Experience with BOM \(Bill of Material\) development and management for developmental and production programs\.

• Knowledge of circuit card and EEE Parts Material manufacturing processes\.

• Knowledge of engineering specification requirements and interpretations is desirable\.

• Experience in participating in major program milestone reviews such as PDR and CDR\.

**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
