As a Behavior Specialist, you will:

+ Participate in the development and implementation of Behavior Support Plans

+ Collect and analyzing data on the effectiveness of Behavior Support Plans

+ Adjust or revise support strategies

+ Monitor and train staff and caregivers on implementation strategies

+ Submit required documentation to Behavior Consultants

+ Travel as needed (20 - 50 mile radius)

In order to be eligible for this role, you should have:

+ A minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or any other related fields

+ At least 5 years of experience in a role involving the support of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities

+ A valid driver's license, along with access to reliable transportation

+ Ability to travel a 20-50 mile radius, as needed

+ Availability to work both day and weekend shifts

+ Professional written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to identify, develop and execute effective training methods

+ Compliance with background check requirements, as required by state laws
