    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a dynamic Consumer Banking Communications Manager responsible for developing and executing an effective internal communications strategy for First Horizon's Consumer Banking division. This crucial role focuses on shaping effective messaging that supports business objectives, fosters associate engagement and strengthens the client experience. The position partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop clear, impactful content that supports key change initiatives, prioritizes performance objectives, strengthens alignment and enables the team and business to thrive.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Strategic Planning & Execution:** Develop and implement a comprehensive, effective internal communications strategy that supports and drives the Consumer Banking Division business priorities and performance objectives.

    + **Content Creation & Storytelling:** Create compelling high-quality communications—including video content, presentations, announcements, huddle and sales guides and other written communications—to inform, inspire and engage the Consumer team with the information needed to perform and excel.

    + **Leadership Communication:** Advise and support senior consumer banking leaders with talking points and scripts for weekly sales calls that effectively communicate current priorities.

    + **SharePoint/Intranet Communication and Adoption**

     

    Help maintain critical content on the company’s Intranet site.

     

    + **Change Management:** Develop communications for key change initiatives, ensuring clear and timely messaging that supports and guides associates through change and transformation.

    + **Performance Measurement:** Work with the Corporate Communications team to establish and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of communications strategies to drive continuous improvement.

    + **Stakeholder Engagement and Brand Stewardship:** Collaborate with internal partners to ensure communications align with First Horizon’s business priorities, purpose, values and brand.

    Qualifications & Required Skills:

    + Bachelor’s degree is preferred not required in Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field.

    + Proven experience (7-10+ years) of communications experience—ideally within the financial services, banking or retail sectors.

    + Demonstrated strategic thinking with the ability to prioritize content and align communications initiatives with business objectives.

    + Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

    + Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders at all levels and provide strategic counsel to senior executives.

    + Demonstrated ability to assess the effectiveness of communication and engagement through data analysis and feedback, driving actionable improvements.

    + A team player with a natural desire to strive for excellence.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment.

    + Agility in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage multiple priorities.

    + Experience supporting change management communications.
