Position Summary

Ability to set up and operate a variety of multi-die headers with little to no supervision. Must be able to read blueprints, inspect parts using a variety of quality tools and gauges, and troubleshoot as needed to run quality parts to meet customer demand. THIS IS A 2nd SHIFT POSITION.

Responsibilities

+ Operate equipment and perform complex machine set up as required.

+ Setup, adjust, and operate equipment as trained in a safe manner.

+ Ability to determine tooling adjustments needed to maintain proper set-ups on multiple header sizes and types.

+ Read and understand blueprints.

+ Properly use gauges and other quality tools to ensure production of good parts.

+ Perform first piece inspections, monitor the quality of all parts, and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.

+ Perform minor preventative maintenance, complete all required tracking documents.

+ Perform the duties required o record data for SPC, ISO/IATF 16949 documentation.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

+ 2-5 years experience running Headers-Formax Header is a plus!

+ HSD/GED or equivalent experience

+ Good mechanical aptitude

+ Ability to perform basic math
