    Job Summary and Qualifications

     

    The Manager, Social Services is responsible for the overall performance of the Social Services department, including selection, hiring, termination, performance management, training, scheduling, and work assignments. The manager will oversee the utilization of employee resources and maintain high levels of efficiency within the parameters of the various staffing matrixes and budgets and will advocate for positive changes when opportunities exist.

     

    The manager will lead the team of clinicians in managing all patients using traditional and non-traditional intervention and treatment modalities. The manager must ensure optimal performance of the team.

     

    The manager will serve as a liaison to the community and organizations outside of the facility as well as maintaining a cooperative and collaborative approach with the clinicians within the facility. The manager is expected to be a dynamic and problem-solving ambassador throughout the community while supporting the RPC mission, vision, and values.

     

    The manager must ensure that each member is able to perform throughout various environments, collaborating with physicians, therapists, nurses and administrators. The manager will also ensure that Social Services maintains and demonstrates an extremely high degree of clinical competency and emphasizes the application of outcomes-based clinical intervention techniques.

    What qualifications you will need:

    + Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

    + Masters Degree

    + (LCSW) Clinical Social Worker, or (LPC/LMHC) Licensed Professional/Mental Health Counselor, or (LMFT) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or (LMSW/RCSW-I) Lic Master Social Worker/Reg Clin SW-Intern

This includes women's services offering obstetrics and fertility, an emergency room, and a trauma center. We offer a Stroke Center, a walk-in clinic, and orthopedics across three Kansas City locations.
