Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Principal Architect to lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions for our Cargo Operational applications. This role will be crucial in shaping the technological landscape of our cargo operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and oversee the architecture of Cargo Operational applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategies.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive architectural roadmap for Cargo systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and frameworks to enhance cargo operations.
Ensure the integration and interoperability of various cargo systems and applications.
Lead technical decision-making processes and provide expert guidance to development teams.
Implement best practices in software architecture, security, and performance optimization.
Mentor and guide junior architects and development teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focusing on logistics or cargo operations.
Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.
Expertise in service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks relevant to cargo operations.
Experience with big data technologies and analytics platforms.
Understanding of cargo industry standards and regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to balance technical expertise with business acumen.
The base pay range for this role is $137,275.00 to $178,670.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
