    Description

    Waterford Public Schools has a position available for a student seeking experience as a Video Intern. The Video Intern will assist the Superintendent’s Office by creating and editing video content that highlights school events, programs, and initiatives. This position offers an opportunity for a high school student to gain hands-on experience in video production and communications while supporting district projects.

     

    Waterford Public Schools serves approximately 2,400 students in grades PK-12.     Responsibilities include:

    + Filming and editing short videos for district use.

    + Assisting with planning and preparing video shoots.

    + Covering school and community events as assigned.

    + Maintaining video files and equipment.

    + Working with staff to showcase student and district achievements.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Current high school student with experience creating video content.

    + Basic skills in video editing software (iMovie, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar).

    + Creative, reliable, and able to work independently.

    + Strong communication and organizational skills.

    Schedule:

    + Part-time, flexible hours to fit around school commitments.

    + Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.

     

    Hourly Rate: $16.35 per hour
