As a Clinical Pharmacist - PRN Weekend, you will provide vital support for centralized pharmacy operations by rotating through responsibilities such as order clarification, IV preparation and operational coverage. You will also engage in clinical monitoring activities, including rounding with providers and nursing teams to ensure safe and effective medication use. In this role, your expertise in drug selection, dosing and interactions will help optimize patient outcomes and enhance quality of care. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your clinical knowledge in a flexible weekend role while contributing to a collaborative, patient-focused pharmacy team.

This is a PRN weekender position. Shifts will be based on facility needs.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

+ Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services.

+ Verify medication orders and/or dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations.

+ Document services in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.

+ Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with national accreditation standards.

+ Maintain professional interactions with patients to facilitate successful patient experiences.

+ Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers, and/or patients.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

+ PharmD or Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited pharmacy college

+ Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current state within 90 days of hire

+ Completion of a post-graduate year 1 residency (PGY1), fellowship or 2 years of relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience

+ Post-graduate year 2 residency (PGY2) or relevant experience for Clinical Pharmacists hired in a specialized pharmacy practice area (i.e. Critical Care, Oncology)

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

+ Board certification

**Physical Requirements** :

+ Typical physical demands include ability to perform the job while standing and walking for prolonged times, approximately 75% of shift and continuously for extended periods of time.

+ Manual dexterity sufficient to perform computer and dispensing functions of the job; ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

+ Position often includes reaching, stretching, stooping, climbing steps and sitting.

+ Must have normal or corrected vision.

+ Must have ability to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person

**Personal Protective Equipment** :

+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
