The New York City Mayor’s Office is responsible for overseeing city services throughout the five boroughs, coordinating public agencies and departments, and managing public property. New York City Mayor Eric Adams is head of the executive branch of New York City's government. The Team You’ll Work With
The Mayor’s Office of Administrative Services is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Mayor’s Office and agencies under City Hall. Facilities, Construction Management, and Operations are responsible for overseeing and managing facilities within all Mayor’s Office locations. Our priorities include, but are not limited to, space management, office seating, custodial needs, supply requests, records management, and mailroom and messenger service. Our goal is to ensure offices operate efficiently and effectively throughout the Mayor’s Office campuses.
The Problems You’ll Solve
- Handling phone calls, emails, and drafting professional correspondence.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain organized records.
- Ensuring accurate labeling, sorting, and delivering mail.
- Tracking packages using FedEx and UPS.
- Writing service tickets as well as keeping track of them.
- Handling and distributing MTA MetroCards.
- Writing property removal passes.
- Handling issues related to mail delivery or processing.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle urgent or time-sensitive deliveries.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three Years of experience in community work or community-centered activities.

Salary Min: $ 42,000.00
Salary Max: $ 48,000.00
