In this role, you’ll be the first line of defense in maintaining system health, monitoring live data, identifying issues, and collaborating with field teams to resolve problems quickly. Key Responsibilities

     

    + Monitor real-time performance of residential solar systems through proprietary and partner monitoring platforms.

    + Analyze system alerts and data trends to identify underperforming systems, outages, or technical issues.

    + Create and manage service tickets for troubleshooting, maintenance, or repair as needed.

    + Collaborate closely with service technicians, electricians, and project managers to ensure timely resolution of performance issues.

    + Communicate proactively with customers regarding system status, performance updates, and resolution timelines.

    + Maintain accurate documentation of all monitoring activities, reports, and corrective actions.

    + Utilize analytical tools and reporting dashboards to track fleet health and identify recurring trends or improvement opportunities.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and insights on system performance and reliability.

    + Assist in onboarding new systems to monitoring platforms and verify connectivity after activation.

    Qualifications & Experience

    + 2+ years of experience in solar monitoring, technical support, or data analysis (renewable energy industry preferred).

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

    + Proficiency with monitoring software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Excel.

    + Experience with Salesforce.com, SolarEdge, Enphase, or similar monitoring platforms preferred.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to explain technical issues in a clear, customer-friendly manner.

    + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

    + Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.

    + Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, IT, Environmental Science, or similar) preferred but not required
