The Sourcing Leader is responsible for Support sourcing activities for assigned categories, including supplier identification, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring, collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Procurement, Manufacturing, Product Management, Finance) to ensure sourcing decisions align with business needs.
This position reports to the Pre-Production Planning and is part of the Supply Chain department located in Fargo, ND or Madison, WI and will be an ONSITE role.
This position is part of the Supply Chain department located in Fargo, North Dakota or Madison, Wisconsin. You will be a part of the Sourcing Team and report to the Director of Supply Chain Planning responsible for developing a strategy for sourcing materials, negotiating contracts and achieving annual cost savings targets.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Support sourcing activities for assigned categories, including supplier identification, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring, collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Procurement, Manufacturing, Product Management, Finance) to ensure sourcing decisions align with business needs.
+ Assist in the development of cost reduction and avoidance strategies while maintaining quality and sustainability standards.
+ Monitor supplier performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Maintain contract documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
+ Apply structured problem-solving and analytical tools to evaluate sourcing alternatives and support decision-making.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor's Degree Required. Preferred in Supply Chain, Business, Operation Management, Engineering or Finance
+ 3+ years working experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or related field with the ability to analyze and assimilate data into decisions
+ Ability to work in a team environment while exercising adaptability, flexibility and good communication with excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities at a time and often under tight timelines
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
• Ability to travel – up to 25%
• Ability to type, and communicate
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Project Management, Supplier Management, Manufacturing and New Product Commercialization Experience
+ Chemical/or pharmaceutical experience preferred
+ Experience in a regulated environment such as cGMP, ISO, or FDA preferred
The salary range for this role is $75K - $100K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
