The Security Intelligence
Program Manager is an intelligence and risk subject-matter expert (SME) that provides
critical support to Delta’s intelligence-led security programs and drives the
development and execution of security strategies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Manage key initiatives to proactively identify and mitigatesecurity risk across the enterprise.
+ Support the development and execution of intelligencestrategies.
+ Maintain a current and deep understanding of worldwide threatdynamics.
+ Collect and analyze large quantities of information withprecision and efficiency.
+ Write, edit, and disseminate intelligence products to Deltastakeholders, driving security promotion and awareness.
+ Develop, maintain, and drive liaison and engagement efforts withgovernment partners and industry counterparts.
+ Coordinate with multiple business units on new and existingprograms and projects to ensure security considerations are incorporated intobusiness decisions.
+ Manage multiple third-party intelligence vendors and informationplatforms.
+ Use understanding of worldwide security environment toprioritize, filter, and assess credibility of information and sources.
+ Develop reports, metrics, and other products to assess, manage,and improve performance of security programs.
+ Serve as a subject-matter expert (SME) and present analysis andother intelligence products to leadership through written reports, oralbriefings, and visual presentations.
+ Support regulatory requirements associated with US Governmentcontracts.
+ Collaborate with team members on special reports and ad-hocintelligence projects.
+ Coordinate security risk decision making in time-sensitivesituations, including those with minimal direction/oversight from leadership.
+ Immediately respond to high threats, even when outside of normalbusiness hours.
+ Practice safety- and security-conscious behaviors in alloperational processes and procedures.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Exceptional writing skills are essential.
+ Should work well in a team environment and possess a high degreeof initiative and drive.
+ Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of directlyrelevant professional experience; or in the absence of a college degree, musthave at least 7 years of directly relevant professional experience.
+ Ability to communicate and present detailed intelligence datathrough oral and written means to stakeholders, senior leaders, andgovernmental/law enforcement agencies.
+ Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage competingpriorities with minimal supervision, including making challenging judgmentcalls in the absence of senior leaders.
+ Demonstrated ability to thrive through challenging analyticalwork in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
+ Ability to independently develop both internal and externalinformation and peer networks and leverage existing networks.
+ Familiarity with US and international security policy and organizationalstructure/relationship among US federal agencies and relevant state/local lawenforcement organizations.
+ Flexible and adaptable to a fluid and challenging environment.
+ Ability to follow established procedures and excel underpressure in critical situations.
+ Work well alone and in a team environment and possess a highdegree of self-discipline, initiative, and drive.
+ Exceptional understanding of and experience with MicrosoftOffice Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and data analysis tools.
+ US citizenship required.
+ Ability to obtain US government security clearance is required.
+ Limited domestic and international travel required.
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security ofself, others, and personal data.
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, andstyles.
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or highschool equivalency.
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorizationto work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
+ MA/MS in International Relations, Foreign Affairs, History,Economics, Government, Political Science, Security Studies or related field, orrelevant experience.
+ Thorough understanding of trends in worldwide securityenvironment, particularly regarding terrorism/counterterrorism and the aviationindustry.
+ Familiarity with data collection tools.
