Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of HPC Operations. This is a junior to mid-level systems engineer with a background in Linux Administration, Networking, and preferably High Performance Computing. To collaborate with and support our customers, this engineer must have demonstrated a consultative customer service attitudes in prior roles in similar organizations. This position will work under supervision of senior engineers to provision, deploy, administer, monitor, troubleshoot, upgrade, and patch Linux, windows, and high performance computational ( HPC ) resources and related research services. Leverage automation to simplify management and administration of our HPC environment. The applicant must be self-motivated to stay abreast of applicable new technologies and technical methodologies to advance their productivity and career path. The engineer will demonstrate ability to learn on the job, while working with senior engineers and progressively own projects independently. The engineer will have additional responsibility to document processes, procedures, system configurations, services and to place configuration information within our configuration management systems.
