Morgan City, Louisiana (yard-based with offshore travel as needed)

Bronco Energy Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Safety Manager to oversee all onshore and offshore safety operations across our fabrication yard, field construction sites, and offshore projects. Based in Morgan City, Louisiana, this position plays a key leadership role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and workforce readiness throughout Bronco’s operations in the Gulf of Mexico and surrounding regions.

The Safety Manager will manage company and client safety systems, including ISNetworld, Veriforce, and related compliance platforms. This role ensures all Bronco Energy personnel and subcontractors meet required HSE standards prior to mobilization, and that ongoing operations maintain full regulatory and client compliance.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and continually improve Bronco’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs for both onshore and offshore operations.

• Maintain and update ISNetworld and Veriforce systems with company safety documentation, statistics, and insurance requirements.

• Coordinate with clients and subcontractors to ensure full compliance with safety prequalification requirements.

• Oversee workforce readiness, including verification of employee certifications (TWIC, SafeGulf, HUET, Rigging, Confined Space, etc.).

• Conduct regular yard and offshore safety audits, inspections, and pre-mobilization readiness checks.

• Lead incident investigations and perform root cause analysis, ensuring all corrective actions are documented and closed.

• Manage and track safety performance metrics (TRIR, LTIR, near-misses, etc.).

• Conduct orientations, toolbox talks, and refresher training for new and existing employees.

• Oversee company drug & alcohol program, including testing compliance and reporting.

• Ensure adherence to OSHA 1910/1926, BSEE, and USCG requirements.

• Represent Bronco Energy during client audits, site visits, and system evaluations.

• Promote a strong, proactive safety culture built on accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of experience managing HSE programs in offshore, industrial, or heavy construction environments.

• Proven experience managing ISNetworld and Veriforce compliance systems.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA, BSEE, and USCG safety regulations.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital safety systems.

• Valid TWIC card and SafeGulf/RigPass certification.

Preferred:

• OSHA 30, NCCER Safety Tech, or equivalent credential.

• Experience with offshore fabrication, module assembly, or oil & gas field services.

• Prior experience interfacing with clients.

• BOSIET/HUET training (preferred for offshore travel).

Schedule & Compensation

Primary Work Location: Morgan City, Louisiana (yard-based with offshore travel as needed)

Scope: Onshore yard operations, offshore construction projects, and field services

Schedule: Monday–Friday (occasional weekends or offshore travel as required)

Compensation: Competitive salary + full benefits (medical, 401k, PTO)
