**Position Purpose:** Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive BC/DR program within the Centene organization. Develop and implement a comprehensive program that aligns with the organization's business continuity objectives. This involves conducting risk assessments, identifying critical IT systems and data, defining recovery objectives, and developing strategies and plans for disaster recovery.
+ Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to the organization's IT infrastructure and data, analyzing the impact of potential disruptions and developing mitigation strategies. Work with application owners from initial development and implementation to ongoing support and maintenance.
+ Work with IT Disaster Recovery team to ensure applications meet the needs of the business. This involves understanding the business requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement, and defining the necessary enhancements or changes. Develop and deliver training programs to increase awareness and understanding of the program.
+ Lead implementation and coordination of business validation testing, ensuring recovery procedures are documented, communicated, and tested. Support the organization's response efforts during and after a disaster or disruption.
+ Collaborate with various stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and senior management, to understand their needs and priorities, and ensure smooth collaboration between different teams.
+ Ensure that the Business Continuity program complies with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices. This involves staying updated with regulatory requirements, conducting internal audits, and working with external auditors to validate the program's effectiveness and compliance.
+ Support the creation and updating of our policies, procedures, and Charter. Continue to look for ways to improve processes and contributes to excellence of the team. Lead complex projects, on time and on budget, escalating concerns and providing weekly updates. Perform related duties as assigned or requested, including metrics, reporting, and Enterprise Security Risk Management process improvements.
+ Drive the direction, development, and maturity of the enterprise Business Continuity Tool – Fusion Risk Management software. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the application's functionality, performance, and user experience. This involves staying updated with industry trends, evaluating new technologies, and implementing improvements that drive efficiency and innovation.
+ Performs other duties as assigned

**Education/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred. 6+ years of experience in business continuity or IT disaster recovery required.
License/Certification:
Certification from DRIi Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) preferred.
This position is 100% remote within the United States. Travel may be required for annual meetings.
Pay Range: $105,600.00 - $195,400.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
