As a **Security Guard Unarmed Commercial Patrol Full-Time** in **Santa Monica, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for tenants and visitors. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Observe and report suspicious activities and/or persons, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and site representatives as required.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials of individuals entering the location.

+ Write detailed incident and/or shift reports, documenting observations and actions taken during patrols or in response to incidents.

+ Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations, including evacuations and medical incidents, by providing assistance as directed.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to tenants and visitors.

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
