    These roles provide essential assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering patient care. Ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations by handling tasks that support the diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural aspects of patient care. Allied Health - Health Services professionals work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services.

     

    These jobs are responsible for performing diagnostic neurophysiological and cardiovascular testing to assist in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of neurological and cardiac conditions. This job family focuses on conducting digital electroencephalograms (dEEG) to evaluate brain activity and electrocardiograms (EKG or ECG) to assess heart function.

     

    Individual contributors with responsibility in a clinical discipline or specialty. Typically involves diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients, and often include face-to-face interactions with patients. May also spend some time designing and implementing clinical programs, policies, and services using specialized knowledge and skills. Specialty license or certification required which is acquired through advanced education, training and/or experience. This career stream will be most commonly applied to patient care and/or scientific/laboratory technologist jobs. ​

     

    Requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and require vocational or technical education. ​ Works under limited supervision for routine situations. ​ Provides assistance and/or may lead and training to lower-level employees. ​ Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand. ​ May lead daily operation activities.​

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Education: Graduate of an accredited formal medical education program such as CVT, EMT, Paramedic, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy, Sonography, or Associate’s Degree or greater in a Health Sciences related field. Radiography Technician preferred.

     

    Experience: Clinical patient care experience, 2 years or more strongly preferred. Must be employed as a 0.5 FTE or greater to advance or maintain status of CIS 3 or 4. A new employee with greater than 12 months experience in a level 1 trauma center or comparable experience may enter as Clinician 3 with expectations, at manager’s discretion.

     

    Licensure: American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support certification required. Maintains certifications in ACLS and PALS. Board certification in ARRT (CI), (CV), (VI); or RCIS, RCES; or IBHRE required.. CIS 3 could be granted up to 12 months to meet this requirement at mangers discretion

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods and frequently bending/stooping/walking, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); Repetitive motion (computer keyboard). Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100lbs. Ability to wear lead aprons for extended periods of time. May be exposed to chemicals, cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids/infectious disease

     

    Position Compensation Range: $36.73 - $58.77 Hourly
