As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

+ Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as needed.

+ Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities and/or drills, following all site-specific procedures.

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
