    A leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Material Handler II to join the team. As a Material Handler II, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the shipping and receiving department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

    **Job Title:** Material Handler II

    **Location:** St Petersburg, FL

    **Pay Range:** $19

     

    Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

    + Prepare items for shipment by comparing identifying information, counting, weighing, or measuring.

    + Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specified requirements.

    + Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies to support efficient operations.

    + Operate forklifts or hand trucks to move, convey, or hoist shipments within the facility.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    + At least 3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, manufacturing, or materials management.

    + Experience operating forklifts and handling warehouse equipment.

    + Ability to analyze trends, research root causes of inventory issues, and suggest corrective actions.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
