Our client, a leading organization in the financial technology sector, is seeking a dedicated Oracle DBA - NJ to join their dynamic team. As an Oracle DBA - NJ, you will be an integral part of the Data and Analytics department supporting internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, independence, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Location:** Berkeley Heights, NJ

Pay Range: Based on Experience

What's the Job?

+ Support and maintain large-scale Oracle databases, ensuring high performance and availability.

+ Lead database upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning activities, particularly focusing on Oracle 19c and cloud integration.

+ Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement high availability solutions using Golden Gate and Data Guard.

+ Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex database issues efficiently.

+ Participate in 24x7 on-call support to ensure seamless database operations.

What's Needed?

+ Minimum of 5 years of Oracle Database Administration experience supporting multiple databases on Linux/UNIX platforms.

+ Proficiency with Oracle 19c, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, Golden Gate, Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM tools.

+ Experience with cloud migrations, particularly to Azure, and familiarity with Azure Data Studio and related tools.

+ Strong scripting skills in shell scripting and experience with performance tuning and backup/recovery strategies.

+ Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
