**Location:** Brunswick, GA
**Pay:** $16/hour
**Schedule:** Mon-Wed, 8am-5pm, Thu, 8am-7pm, Fri, 8am-12pm
**Employment Type:** Temporary with potential for hire
Why This Role Matters
As a CMA, you’ll be a vital part of the care team, supporting providers and patients through essential clinical and administrative tasks. Your attention to detail, reliability, and friendly demeanor will help ensure smooth operations and high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do
+ Prepare patients for provider visits: document chief complaint, vitals, and intake data
+ Perform ECGs and assist with physical exams and procedures
+ Collect blood and urine specimens per protocol and provider orders
+ Order and send lab specimens using LabCorp Beacon, VHN, and MLAB
+ Maintain clean, stocked exam and lab rooms
+ Schedule appointments, follow up on missed visits, and complete reminder calls
+ Answer phones, fax documents, and manage medical records
+ Ensure HIPAA compliance, privacy and infection control standards
What We’re Looking For
+ Current, up-to-date resume
+ Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
+ Previous phlebotomy experience
+ Experience with EMR systems and basic computer skills
+ Strong communication and multitasking abilities
+ Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced clinical setting
+ Ability to meet compliance requirements including an annual flu vaccine
