    Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking several Packaging Operators to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the packaging process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Packaging Operators

    **Location:** East Durham, NY

    **Pay Range:** $24.75/hr

    **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12.5-hour shifts, 2/2/3 rotation

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Operate state-of-the-art fully automated toothpaste packaging lines running at speeds up to 450 tubes per minute

    + Handle packaging materials including cases, cartons, shippers, labels, wrap, caps, and pallets

    + Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment to ensure optimal performance

    + Perform autonomous maintenance activities and assist technicians with preventive maintenance

    + Conduct inventory checks and manage packaging materials and finished goods efficiently

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High school diploma or GED

    + Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend off

    + Basic computer skills such as data entry, email, and Microsoft Office applications

    + Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods

    + Willingness to work overtime as needed to support business operations
