**Location:** Motley, MN
**Compensation:** $28.50 – $38.00 per hour
**Employment Type:** Direct Hire
Are you an experienced HR professional fluent in both Spanish and English, ready to make a meaningful impact? Our client is seeking a **Bilingual Senior HR Generalist** to support their operations in Motley, MN. In this key role, you will serve as a strategic partner to management, providing comprehensive HR support across all functional areas. Reporting directly to the Plant HR Manager, you will help foster a positive workplace culture by implementing policies, procedures, and programs that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Act as a strategic HR advisor to operations teams, ensuring consistent application of company policies and procedures.
+ Collaborate with leadership to assess staffing needs and develop accurate job descriptions.
+ Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
+ Facilitate onboarding and training programs; support performance management initiatives.
+ Maintain accurate employee records and manage employment documentation, including separations and exit interviews.
+ Administer employee benefits and conduct open enrollment sessions.
+ Support employee relations by assisting with performance issues, counseling, and development.
+ Manage leave of absence and accommodation requests in compliance with ADA regulations.
+ Oversee performance review processes to ensure fairness and consistency.
+ Stay informed on employment laws and recommend policy updates as needed.
+ Partner with plant leadership to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
+ Deliver training programs to support workforce development and compliance.
+ Conduct or assist with workplace investigations, ensuring thorough and objective outcomes.
+ Maintain knowledge of environmental and safety policies; report incidents or risks promptly.
+ Assist with payroll processing and time-off requests as needed.
+ Perform other duties as assigned to support HR and operational objectives.
Qualifications:
+ Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
+ SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR certification preferred.
+ Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in employee relations, compliance, or policy administration.
+ Generalist experience strongly preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Ability to meet physical requirements, including occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) and standing/walking.
+ Must pass pre-employment screenings (drug and background checks).
