    Job Responsibilities

    As a packer, you will:

    + Unpack and unbox frozen packaged products.

    + Place products on racks for defrosting.

    + Remove defrosted products from racks, take off outer plastic, and place them into containers for specialized cuts.

    Working Environment

    + Work with fresh meat products such as ham, bacon, and sausage.

    + Be prepared for a strong smoke smell as the meat is smoked after thawing.
