    Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Backend Engineer (Python) (Charlotte) to join their dynamic team. As a Backend Engineer (Python) (Charlotte), you will be an integral part of the software development department supporting innovative platform solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Backend Engineer (Python) (Charlotte)

    **Location:** Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite)

    What's the Job?

     

    + Design and develop horizontally scalable components within the core platform to ensure high performance and reliability

    + Review and provide constructive code feedback, emphasizing best practices, performance, and stability

    + Become a subject matter expert on deployed code and support fellow developers in troubleshooting and optimization

    + Write reusable, extendable, and maintainable code to contribute to the evolution of the platform

    + Continuously seek opportunities to simplify and improve software solutions, challenging yourself and peers to innovate

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Proficiency in functional and object-oriented programming, particularly in Python

    + Experience working with databases, including relational, document-based, and NoSQL databases

    + Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures

    + Experience building distributed, scalable, and robust microservices and complex services

    + Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation processes
