Description
We are seeking a dynamic Additive Manufacturing Tech to lead our state-of-the-art additive manufacturing operations. In this role, you will oversee a sophisticated fleet of 20 3D printers while managing end-to-end production processes and team development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing production schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality output through all stages of manufacturing - from initial production to final post-processing. This role requires strong technical expertise in additive manufacturing combined with proven leadership abilities.
You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement standardized best practices, and maintain crucial relationships with various stakeholders including planning, customer success, and quality teams. The position demands excellent decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on maintaining production metrics and quality standards.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience in team leadership
- Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing operations experience
- At least 2 years of experience in additive manufacturing/3D printing technologies
- Demonstrated experience with 3D printing operations and post-processing techniques
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control systems
- Proficiency in manufacturing management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to analyze and interpret production data and metrics
- OSHA safety certification (or ability to obtain)
- Any relevant additive manufacturing certifications are a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of manufacturing, process, industrial engineering experience
- Experience in team management with 5 or more direct reports
- Experience working with a cross functional team
- 3+ years of direct experience with industrial-scale additive manufacturing
- Track record of implementing successful continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of multiple 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLA, SLS, etc.)
- Experience with quality management systems and ISO standards
- Familiarity with CAD software and 3D modeling
- Experience with production planning and scheduling software
- Knowledge of materials science and polymer processing
- Demonstrated success in process optimization and cost reduction
- Experience in developing and implementing standard operating procedures
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation
- Understanding of Industry 4.0 principles
- Experience with automated manufacturing systems
- Knowledge of manufacturing regulatory requirements
- Experience in a high-mix, low-volume production environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $61,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $100,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
