    TheOutreach and Partner Support Managerleads a dedicated team focused on improving awareness of accurate immunization information and increasing support for the Idaho Immunization Program’s internal and external partners. This position is responsible for guiding the Outreach and Partner Support Team in efforts to promote public health and strengthen partnerships across Idaho. The manager inspires team members to bring their best to work each day, plans education events and awareness campaigns that encourage positive change, and communicates clearly and efficiently both verbally and in writing. The position works as part of an outcomes-driven team committed to making a difference in the health of Idahoans. This position is located in downtownBoise.

     

    This position may be eligible for limited telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. Approval to telecommute is not guaranteed and subject to termination at any time.

    EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:

    + Supervise a team with varying responsibilities including School/Daycare Immunization support, immunization information system provider support, immunization program sub-grant monitoring, collaborations with local public health districts, Tribes in Idaho, and other immunization providers.

    + Lead planning for all Idaho Immunization Program education conferences and webinars.

    + Write communications for distribution to partners and the public that are clear, concise, and in compliance with immunization-related statutes.

    + Create and manage awareness campaigns that could include content for radio, print, streaming, or other media.

    + Manage implementation of the annual school immunization report.

    + Participate in all reporting required by Immunization Program funding sources.

    + Support oversight of all program provider contracts and sub-grants.

    + Actively participate in the Immunization Program's management team.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    You must possess all the minimum and specialty minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position. Please make sure your resume or work history supports your meeting the minimum and specialty qualifications for this position. It is highly recommended to attach a one-page cover letter to your application to demonstrate how you meet the requirements below.

     

    + Considerable knowledge of health program needs assessment and program development, implementation, and evaluation. Typically requires completion of a Bachelor's degree, or higher, in health or a health science field such as public health, health education, nursing, environmental health, public health administration, or a related field, plus four years of related experience OR a Master's degree in a related field and two years of related experience OR at least eight years of full-time working experience directly in this field.

    + Experience developing and implementing or managing public health programs. Typically requires at least two years of experience developing and implementing public health program(s) OR one year of experience managing a public health program including developing a work plan of goals, objectives and activities, developing a program evaluation process and a program budget.

    + Experience coordinating health services or public health programs with various agencies and organizations. Typically requires a minimum of one year of experience coordinating health services or public health programs with various agencies and organizations.

    + Experience providing health program consultation to organizations and programs. Typically requires a minimum of one year of experience providing health program consultation to organizations and programs.

    + Experience evaluating health related educational materials. Typically requires a minimum of one year of experience evaluating health related educational materials.

    + Experience writing grant proposals. Typically requires a minimum of one year of experience writing grant proposals.

     

    Below is preferred experience. It is not required for the position but applicants with this experience may receive consideration over other applicants.

     

    + Expertise in immunization marketing/media campaigns with an understanding of imaging and language that resonates with the general population.Typically gained by at least two years working in public health-related media/marketing projects
