Logistics Specialist Job Description

Responsibilities for a Logistics Specialist include but are not limited to:

+ Providing core **logistics support** , including **order entry** and maintaining customer profiles in the Freight Optimizer system.

+ Managing **routing and dispatching** , which involves providing detailed directions to drivers.

+ Monitoring daily pick-ups and deliveries; verifying status and taking **check calls from drivers** .

+ Scheduling, rescheduling, and managing delivery appointments, and communicating load statuses to customers and account managers.

Candidates for Logistics Specialist must meet the following requirements to be considered:

+ A minimum of **1 year of logistics experience** .

+ General knowledge of the **transportation industry** .

+ Availability to work the initial training shift of **Monday - Friday, 11 AM - 8 PM** , and the subsequent schedule (Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat).

+ High school diploma or equivalent is highly preferred.

**Pay Details:** $19.00 per hour
