Actively Screening for entry level R&D Technician to join medical device company in Alpharetta, GA!
Job Description
This position works closely with the lab team to ensure that testing of new products is completed accurately and in a timely manner. The role is essential in supporting the development of a class III medical device.
Responsibilities
+ Perform product testing as described in the test methods.
+ Comply with GLP, GDP, and GMP standards after training.
+ Participate as a team member in testing processes.
+ Collaborate closely with lab engineers, other technicians, and the lab coordinator with some supervision.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ 0-3 years of experience performing testing and/or inspection in a laboratory setting or manufacturing environment.
+ Minimum of a High School Diploma, with some college-level coursework desirable.
+ Experience with laboratory tools and instrumentation, including calipers, micrometers, vision systems, and tensile testers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a scientific discipline preferred.
+ Experience with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is a plus.
+ Average verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to ask questions when uncertain.
+ Capability to work independently once trained.
Work Environment
This role operates in a new, well-lit, and clean office/laboratory environment in Alpharetta, near Winward Hwy. The position offers flexible hours from Monday to Friday, with an 8-hour workday starting between 6 am and 8 am. No weekend work is required. The management team is friendly and inviting, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants for lunch.

This is a Contract position based out of Alpharetta, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
