Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description
We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects from initiation through delivery. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources while ensuring alignment with strategic goals. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate and monitor the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of assigned programs.
+ Work directly with internal customers regarding program status, addressing needs, and resolving issues.
+ Assist in the preparation of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts.
+ Track and monitor labor, material, overhead, and other costs related to programs.
+ Identify and monitor risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
+ Ensure adherence to master plans and schedules.
+ Prepare program management reviews, management progress reports, and presentations.
+ Work collaboratively with all employees throughout the organization.
Essential Skills
+ 10 years of project management experience.
+ Prior experience in the defense industry, specifically with DoD, and preferably with the Navy.
+ Experience managing large programs valued at $300 million or more.
+ Proven ability to manage under a Firm Fixed Price model and oversee program costs over several years.
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency in program management, budgeting, cost analysis, and P&L management.
+ PMP certification and a Bachelor's degree.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience managing engineering and R&D heavy programs.
+ Experience in a matrix organization, managing team members across different groups such as manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain.
Work Environment
This position is onsite at a DoD manufacturer in Mississippi, operating under a 4/10s schedule. However, the team works until the job is done, which may include some Fridays. The organization is small and highly involved with upper leadership, offering opportunities for program ownership and collaboration across various departments.

This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, Mississippi.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
