Job Title: R&D Technician
Job Description
As an R&D Technician, you will assist in the development of prototype test benches, wiring harnesses, and vehicles within a Research and Development (R&D) environment. You will be responsible for developing new processes and procedures, documenting project progression, and troubleshooting complex systems.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in the development of prototype test benches and wiring harnesses.
+ Participate in the development of vehicles for R&D.
+ Create and document new processes and procedures.
+ Report on project progression and development processes.
+ Troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
Essential Skills
+ Prototyping and testing validation.
+ Troubleshooting skills, especially with low voltage 12/24-volt systems.
+ Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
+ Experience in the test and development of mechanical systems and subsystems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with high voltage systems is a plus.
+ Experience in automotive or low volume manufacturing.
+ Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Work Environment
You will be working on-site with a small team of 40 people in Loveland, Colorado. The role offers opportunities for growth and experience with CAD design. The team operates in a collaborative and innovative R&D setting, utilizing lean manufacturing techniques and CAD software.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loveland, Colorado.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
