    Job Title: Sample Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Sample Technician to manage and process samples entering our laboratory. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth laboratory operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the sciences, as there is room for growth from a lab technician to a chemist, and eventually to higher chemist levels.

    Responsibilities

    + Handle and manage samples entering the laboratory.

    + Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient laboratory operations.

    + Prepare samples for analysis and testing.

    + Provide excellent customer service and maintain communication with clients.

    + Perform data entry tasks related to sample management.

    Essential Skills

    + Background in sciences with an associate or bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    + Proficiency in data entry.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Desire to work as part of a team rather than individually.

    Work Environment

    The position operates within a dynamic and growing laboratory environment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The team is currently expanding to accommodate increased business, offering opportunities for career progression from lab technician to various chemist levels.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
