Program Manager – Aerospace & Defense

About the Role
We are hiring a Program Manager to lead aerospace and defense programs governed by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). You will manage the full program lifecycle including planning, execution, compliance, and delivery while working closely with cross-functional teams and customers.
Responsibilities
Program Management
+ Lead multiple programs aligned with business goals
+ Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and resources
+ Monitor performance and mitigate risks
Compliance & Contracts
+ Ensure adherence to FAR, ITAR, EAR, and security protocols
+ Manage contract negotiations, modifications, and obligations
Stakeholder Engagement
+ Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
+ Provide regular updates on program status and risks
Team Leadership
+ Lead and mentor cross-functional teams
+ Support team development and performance
Financial Oversight
+ Track budgets and forecasts (EAC)
+ Identify cost-saving opportunities
Risk Management
+ Identify and manage program risks
+ Develop and execute mitigation plans
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or STEM (Master’s preferred)
+ 5–7 years of program management experience in aerospace/defense
+ Experience in a product driven/hardware development environment
+ Experience with FAR-based and FFP contracts
+ Strong knowledge of risk management, change control, and compliance
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.
