    Job Description

    We are seeking a Technician to provide engineering and build support for current products, laser-based, and cryogenic cleaning technologies.

    Responsibilities

    + Build, test, and troubleshoot assemblies.

    + Build, set up, and debug mechanical using mechanical prints.

    + Build, set up, test, and debug assemblies using schematics.

    + Assemble components with tolerances less than .001 inches.

    + Perform and document incoming inspection of parts or assemblies according to written procedures.

    + Support engineering through system level troubleshooting.

    + Perform installation of products at customer sites, both domestic and international.

    + Perform and document final testing of the equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in testing and or quality.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints

    + Ability to use calipers and micrometers.

    + Experience with functionality testing.

    + Proficiency in reading schematics and build sheets.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with soldering.

    + Experience in ISO standards.

    + Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills with sales support and customer relations.

    + Basic understanding of MRP systems.

    Work Environment

    The work environment includes a combination of lab/clean room and desk settings. The work schedule is an 8-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch break, offering flexibility to start as early as 5am or as late as 9am.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delray, Florida.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
