Job Title: Associate Project CoordinatorJob Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Project Coordinator to support Project Managers and the project team in Reno. This role is particularly focused on assisting a new Project Manager transitioning to the area, ensuring smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
+ Track material, project status, and issues.
+ Speak to and mitigate issues promptly and effectively.
+ Address missing materials, performance of other contractors, and gate issues causing project delays.
+ Stand your ground in identifying project hold-ups and communicate necessary actions to subcontractors.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in project tracking and schedule tracking.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
+ Strong skills in construction management, project coordination, and project management.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience in maintaining an issues log.
+ Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members and subcontractors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience from a general contractor, electrical subcontractor, engineering, or mechanical company is preferred.
+ Experience with Requests for Information (RFI), tracking submittals, and managing change orders.
Work Environment
The role is based on-site at the Switch Data Center, out of USA Parkway. The work schedule is Monday through Saturday, approximately 6 AM to 3 PM. This is a great career opportunity to work on data centers, offering job security and potential growth to a Project Manager position. The role is temporary-to-hire due to ongoing projects and branch expansion.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Nevada.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $40.86/hr.
