    Based in North America (preferred locations: Sacramento, CA; Bellevue, WA; Spokane, WA; Portland, OR; Boise, ID; Irvine, CA; or Anchorage, AK), you’ll assist a team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget for world class projects. You’ll work with a knowledgeable and supportive group of professional staff to support projects through data collection and management, data review, development of technical reports, calculating emissions estimates, and so much more.

    * Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering or closely related field

    * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

    * Willingness to perform field work

    * United States Citizenship

    * Ability to work in one of the preferred locations for this internship ( Sacramento, CA; Bellevue, WA; Spokane, WA; Portland, OR; Boise, ID; Irvine, CA; or Anchorage, AK) or other Western US locations based on project needs

    Ideally, you’ll also have:

    * A previous internship related to your field of study

    * Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs

    * Self-driven time management and organizational skills

    * Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and hold an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) designation *

    * Ability to obtain 40-hour Hazardous waste and emergency operations (HAZWOPER) training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher class, if needed for role
