As the Senior Environmental Scientist, you’ll lead environmental projects, regulatory strategy, compliance, air quality, environmental health & safety, NEPA analysis, and permitting. You’ll develop and implement innovative environmental compliance and management solutions for our clients.
Based out of the US, you’ll be a key member of our EHS team, you’ll guide multi-discipline teams to support environmental compliance projects with for our clients. You’ll also have a chance to mentor other professionals, helping your team discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward. You’ll make an impact, as you navigate the delivery of projects involving environmental strategy development, compliance assurance strategies and design of associated work processes. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or other related field from a U.S. accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant regulatory compliance in a consulting environment
• Basic awareness of federal/state environmental regulations
• Experience managing environmental compliance projects
• Experience mentoring and leading junior staff
• Project Management experience focusing on environmental projects
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
• Familiarity with facility response plans (FRPs), multimedia environmental compliance and environmental management systems (EMS) audits, stormwater, EHS Information Management (experience with at least one off the shelf electronic information management solutions (e.g., Sphera Essential Suite, Enviance, Enablon, Technidata EC, Intelex, SAP EHS, Gensuite or others), and regulatory compliance
• Experience building new relationships; building networks with client organizations; participating in technical seminars and conferences including delivery of technical presentations
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or other related field from a U.S. accredited college or university
• Experience working with Department of Defense clients • ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
• Certified aboveground storage tank inspector
• Certified environmental auditor
