    Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

    M - F 6 am - 2:30pm $19 - $21

    Job Description

    As an Assembler, you will independently construct vaporizers from start to finish. You will perform mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and tests of the vaporizers using hand and power tools, guided by blueprints. The role includes some packaging duties to prepare products for shipping.

    Responsibilities

    + Independently build vaporizers from start to finish.

    + Perform mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.

    + Conduct tests on vaporizers.

    + Utilize hand and power tools for assembly.

    + Read and interpret blueprints for accurate assembly.

    + Prepare finished products for packaging and shipping.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints.

    + Experience with mechanical assembly.

    + Ability to troubleshoot and utilize hand and power tools.

    + Familiarity with computers.

    + Strong communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 6+ months of experience with hand tools.

    + Desire to build products from start to finish, not on an assembly line.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a cleanroom environment that requires gowning up. The shop is small, clean, quiet, and laid-back, offering the choice to stand or sit during work. You will typically work alone, though occasionally with another individual. Hours are flexible, with start times between 6:00 am and 8:00 am, working 8.5 hours a day, Monday to Friday. Overtime is usually voluntary and on Saturdays.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shoreview, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
