    Job Title: Bagging Operator - 1st shift - 17/hr

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Bagging Operator in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. This position requires individuals who are comfortable working in a cold, dusty, and dirty setting with an indoor/outdoor feel. You will be an integral part of the production line, ensuring the efficient operation of our automated machinery.

    Responsibilities

    + Hang bags on automated machinery lines to be filled with product.

    + Ensure bags are sealed by machinery and sent down the line.

    + Oversee robots palletizing and sending bags to the wrapping machine.

    + Add and track paperwork for each full load.

    + Remove pallets and place them directly onto a truck.

    + Lift up to 50 lbs if a manual run is needed.

    + Keep machinery running at all times.

    + Maintain cleanliness of the area to prevent product-related issues.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production and general production processes.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

    + Willingness to work Saturday overtime as needed.

    + Ability to wear steel-toed shoes and stand for a full shift.

    + Commitment to a 5-6 month contract.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Forklift, fork truck, and reach truck experience.

    + Experience in shipping and receiving, quality control.

    + Experience in agriculture or landscaping is beneficial.

    + Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a large industrial complex with 200+ people, specifically within a business unit of 80 people. This seasonal ramp is essential for fertilizer bagging and storage. Safety training will be provided, and candidates are required to complete a safety orientation video. The facility has first-come, first-serve parking, and employees can go off-site for lunch.

    This is a Contract position based out of Maumee, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
