Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

The Manufacturing Technician operates equipment to accurately utilize raw ingredient materials in a precise manner to create flavor products. The technician ensures understanding and adherence to all safety, quality, and operational procedures. They utilize tools and electronic/computer systems for compounding and container filling, while following production, safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

+ Operate equipment to accurately utilize raw ingredient materials.

+ Ensure understanding of safety, quality, and operational procedures.

+ Use tools and electronic/computer systems for compounding and container filling.

+ Utilize computer, scan gun, or other tools to match ingredients to shop orders.

+ Follow production, safety, quality, and operational procedures to verify and record information.

+ Ensure proper ventilation and use of safety equipment.

+ Develop understanding of Quality Control requirements and follow relevant policies.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience in a pharmaceutical, food, or nutraceutical environment.

+ Knowledge of machine operating and production processes.

+ Strong emphasis on safety.

+ Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math skills, including ratios and weighing.

+ Knowledge of FDA and GMP regulations.

+ Ability to follow procedures and directions accurately.

+ Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.

+ Ability to lift 50-75+ lbs regularly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

+ Good attitude and motivation to learn.

Work Environment

This position is in a flavor and fragrances manufacturing company specializing in sweet flavors such as strawberry, root beer, and peanut butter. The work environment consists of a small team of 15 people, requiring individuals to work independently and take initiative. The shift is from 5 am to 1:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
