Job Title: Brake Press Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to oversee the operation of an 18-foot brake press machine. The role involves bending and forming metals, setting up machinery based on work orders, and ensuring precise machine operations using various measuring devices.
Responsibilities
+ Operate an 18-foot brake press machine efficiently.
+ Bend and form metals according to specifications.
+ Set up machinery based on detailed work orders.
+ Ensure accurate machine operation using measuring devices.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and WPS specifications.
Essential Skills
+ At least 6 months of machine operating and fabricating experience in a factory setting.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and WPS specifications.
+ Experience with measuring devices such as micrometers and dial calipers is strongly preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Past experience is required due to current lack of training resources.
+ Familiarity with press brake, punch press, and fabrication processes is beneficial.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
