Job Title: Packaging Inspector
Job Description
As a Packaging Inspector, you will be responsible for performing essential duties to ensure the quality and compliance of packaging products. You will play a vital role in the inspection and packaging process, ensuring that products meet functional specifications and cosmetic standards for customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
+ Perform limited and repetitive visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of products.
+ Establish incoming inspection or packaging procedures and protocols, including pass/fail documentation.
+ Ensure that products meet functional specifications and are cosmetically acceptable.
+ Communicate questionable or non-conforming products to the Supervisor for review.
+ Conduct functional tests and packaging techniques using specialized instructions.
+ Scan items and enter data to complete pass or fail reports for products or jobs.
+ Assist in solving problems, addressing quality issues, and creating or updating work instructions.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Comprehend detailed instructions and read work orders.
+ Ability to move around and stand all day when necessary.
+ Work well within a team environment.
+ Maintain work area and equipment in order and clean condition while following prescribed safety regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in packaging, assembly, and production.
+ Knowledge of labeling processes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.62/hr.
