Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will conduct appearance inspections based on general and specific standards, perform dimensional inspections using various tools, and conduct hardness tests to meet material requirements. Additionally, you will engage in assembly inspections by simulating physical assembly and inspect labels, boxes, code dates, and packaging materials. Non-conforming materials and products will be managed by placing them on hold and releasing them to the MRB.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct appearance inspections using general plastic, hardware, PCB, and project-specific inspection standards.
+ Perform dimensional inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, tooth gauges, and height gauges.
+ Conduct hardness tests using a hardness agent for materials with specific hardness requirements.
+ Engage in assembly inspections through simulated physical assembly using packaging products.
+ Inspect and approve labels, boxes, code dates, and packaging materials.
+ Manage non-conforming materials and products by placing them on hold and releasing them to MRB.
Essential Skills
+ Expertise in PCB, blueprint, circuit board, quality control, printed circuit board, cabling, surface mount, PCB assembly, inspection, and IPC610.
+ Minimum of 2 years' experience as an IQA Inspector in an electronics manufacturing environment.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Attention to detail and technical skills with the ability to understand blueprints, documents, and manuals.
+ Basic math and computer skills.
+ Ability to influence others to follow rules and regulations.
+ Strong leadership skills and teamwork mentality.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Dexterity, physical strength, and physical stamina.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Minimum high school diploma or related experience.
+ Knowledge of IPC-610 and IPC-600 standards is preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milpitas, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
